Default Chevy Lean

I'm finally gonna get of my lazy *** and deal with the chevy lean. My 09 RCSB sits 1/2 inch higher on the passenger side. I lowered it 4/7.

I'm gonna but in a 1/2 inch lowering block in the rear. I'm running Bell Tech struts up front with stock coils. I was thinking about cutting some of the coil to get the 1/2 inch I need.

Does anyone else have a different way to achieve this? Also, has anyone cut a front coil to get a desired drop?

I have heard the coil is the root of the problem. Dont quote me tho as I have not dealt with it. In honesty tho I think my 03 sits perfect just higher in the rear. I also havent measured it tho. My 00 seemed like it had it pretty bad. Let me know how much you end up cutting off the coil, when I cut the coils and get spindles I will be compensating for the lean

I measured my 07 after putting my 20's back on. Rear is 1.25 higher than front, side to side is within 1/4" so guess I'm lucky. I was going look up the specs in the manual but can't get in right now...

I've never checked my lean, it isn't noticeable to me yet at least.

I haven't even noticed mine, But now that you brought it up I went and pulled a tape on it. I have an 09 RCSB with a 4/7 drop and the rear passenger side sits about 1/8" higher than the driver side. The front sits about a 1/2" higher on the passenger side. Not really enough to bug me, but i'm still interested in how you fix it. My 00' model leaned really bad tho.

rockauto.com sells some husky coil springs part #sc 20222 and other more expensive ones in which the driver's side coil is taller than the passengerside to minimize lean. bought them as replacements for like 133 shipped and worked out great for me with no guesswork....

What is the cause of this lean? Does it only come as a result of adding a lowering kit or do stock suspension trucks do it too?
