4l80e to what transfer case on nnbs swap?

I read through the GMT900 post and it was never stated how the 4x4 swap went. I know the 4l80 has a 32 spline output and the nnbs has a new style mp1222 transfer case with 27 spline input. Do I get a do I get a transmission that already has the transfer case attached and the computer can be programed for the older case or do I need to get a new input shaft / output shaft to match? My 60e is toast and trying to find out what I need. T case is manual shift on the floor.

I opted to have a custom output shaft made so my stock transfer case would still work. Phoenix Transmission did my transmission and they also sell those output shafts.

For front and rear drive shafts did you go custom for both?

From what I read there was a possibility to use the TCase input shaft from the NNBS Hybrid trucks since that is 32 spline but no one that i could find had actually tried it.

I will be going 4L80E as well and just want to ensure to get the right parts.

This is who you got it from? Phoenix Transmission Products | 700R4 - TH-2004R - TH-350 - 4L80E - High Performance Transmission Products and same question as the other guy did you have to lengthen the front and cut down the rear ?

Just change the transfer case's input shaft to the 6l80e 32 spline input. It fits right in... I know cause that's what I did on my 70e to 6l80e swap. Don't see what it wouldn't work the same. Now the adapter from transmission to transfer case is what I don't know if it will bolt up from an 80e, but it did on my 6l80e

If this helps ya! I have part number and all for T-case input shaft.

Please share the part number :)

From what I can tell, the adapter from the 4L80E 4x4 trans should mate to the stock Tcase, no issues on a NBS so I imagine it will fit the NNBS.

At the bottom of the first post is the part #. Also have pics of it in this thread

THANKS, Getting the input shaft on order for my transfercase, Any clue if Ill get lucky like you did and not need to change drive shaft lengths due to adapter thickness?

He did a 6L80E swap so we might not be as lucky but that would certainly be nice!

Looks like there is a 1 5/8" difference between the 4l60e and the 4l80e 4x4 so drive shaft mods would most likely need done.
