I kept my original 5.3 flexplate, just made sure my new circle D converter had the correct bolt spacing, didn't use a harness mechanic knew which wire to repin to ensure it read properly.

TECH Junkie
If it was 4wd different input shaft I forget? I may be doing it if I buy a different truck. Thanks Jessie!

Correct if your ok with having your harness repinned and tech knows how to do it.. I'm sure there's post on what pin needs to be moved and vss plug. My mechanic knew this as I had a Nelson Performance harness but wasn't used.
