Default Can you cut out the black plastic behind a '13 Sierra Denali lower grill?

I'm thinking that this would be a great location for my Trucool 40k since my Whipple heat exchanger takes up so much room and I'd love to keep as much flow through the rad as possible. Thanks guys!

I don't see any reason you couldn't. I took mine off to color match it, and thought when I do go to forced induction it would be a good thing to do. I would cut it right in the corner then when you put the chrome piece back on it will hide your cut.

I thought you were asking if you could cut a regular bumper to fit the denali grill.
Ill probably do this, this weekend, and maybe check back in with you guys. To my understanding the black part has inserts for the grill to snap into.

I want to install my cooler down there as well.

Well I did it and it worked! You can see my creeper through the lower grille now. I'm about to devise how I will mount the cooler now.

Final product mounted. Going to use some 90 fittings to go into the fittings at the bottom. Hopefully they don't end up being too low. If so so will have to flip everything upside down and remake the brackets. I'll find out soon enough.
