Default 2wd vs. 4wd suspension

How different is the suspension up front on a 4wd and 2wd on the new trucks? I'm asking this in regards on lowering a 4x4 one. I see mcgaughys has lowering kits for the 2wd but was just curious if any of those front parts could be used on a 4x4? TIA.

yeah, I think the front suspension is the same, since you can use the 2wd spindles or coils....
my mcgaughys kit said not to lower the 4x4s more than 2" in the front, and I have a couple buddies that damaged their axles because they lowered theirs too much... Hope this helps

Ground force kits with spindles work on 2wd or 4wd NNBS
