Default 2011 ccsb 4x4

I got a 2011 crew cab z71 all-terrain. It's got a leveling kit an some rather heavy mud grappler 33's. It's just a 5.3 an I wish I could find a 6.2 somewhere but they're rare. Looking for some more torque, thinking a cam is in order. I'm new to the gen 4 stuff an dont know differences in the things that are different between it and my 2000 5.3 I just built. Right now my crew cab has 4:11's, cai, exhaust and the 6 speed. Not looking to get a stall if possible. It has the 243 heads so I was thinking they could flow pretty well with a higher lift cam, just dont know of there's a off the shelf cam that I need or a custom grind. It is a DD. If there's any other things to do to these trucks for power I'm open to ideas and advice

Welcome to the site.

Not sure what the overall question you had was but I think I gathered you wanted to make more power LOL.

TONS of options, how deep are your pockets?

Not FI deep, just depends really. Ya basically since I have a 5.3 in a heavy four wheel drive I need a lot of torque for pulling a horse trailer and stuff.

Well you already have 4.11's so that's a great start. I would have a cam speced for your truck and goals by Pat G and then get a custom tune.

I'll probably end up doing that. Thinking like the comp high lift truck cam an 1.8 Terra's.

Lts and CAI is a good way to get some extra power also and there both easy to install.

Got all the bolt ons down, going to run 35's with a rough country 5 inch lift in the summer. last summer it was gutless trying to do anything with when I had that setup, so of course when I said this is a daily driver and not gonna mess with it just drive an do bolt ons; i always want more out of it.
