Default Took the Yank out of the truck...new track times

Yup, clutches fried in the Yank ss3600 I had in the truck. When I installed it the truck lost 2-3mph so we fine tuned it to get my MPH back to where it was before the converter which was 101. Well I have the stock converter back in the truck so I took it back to the track because it feels strong. Best time with the Yank was 13.50@101.9mph. Best today was a 13.53@104.4mph. Only mods are : Aeroturbine muffler, ported tb and a custom tune from Justune here in Kansas City. Everything else is stock. Ran the truck on the 22's. Im pretty happy with it. Ran consistant 13.5'&13.6's @104+ all day

104 trap out of a stock tuned truck is just ridiculous. I don't know if the trans gearing is helping that much or that 6.2 really does make that much power over a 6.0. An LQ9 in an ex. cab backed by a 60e is lucky to trap 97 mph.

it could have been the "looser" stall speed of the converter. he has a stock cam so the cam was too small for a 3600 converter imo. the converter is to help it get movin the cam helps it keep moving. if they dont work together then one is going to fail somewhere. in his case the cam couldnt keep pulling the truck through the 1/4 mile. my truck ran the same MPH no matter what converter was in my truck. the lower E.T came from the "looser" stall speed but i had the cam to keep pulling on the big end
