2/4 drop on NNBS question

Okay I am wondering if this combo will work on my truck and if any of you guys have tried this or know anyone who has tried this.

I'm pretty sure the front will be fine with stock shocks and stock sized tires of 20x8.5 and 275/55R-20.

The back is where my questions really lie because I'm just not to sure about the shocks needed or if I will need to cut the bump stops down some. The wheel tire combo is stock 20x8.5s and 305/50R-20.

2/4 Drop

Front
2" Beltech Drop Coils

Back
2" from Beltech Shackles
2" from McGaughys Drop Leaf Springs

The reason I am trying to go this route is that I already had the Beltech Shackles installed and then I ran across a set of slightly used McGaughy's Drop Leafs that I purchased.

I guess I could even go 2/5 by removing the stock 1" block, but I don't really want to do a flip or notch my frame.

I have always had trucks with lift kits on them so I am not well versed going in the opposite direction so any input will greatly appreciated.

im sure it will work fine.

for the rear, they sell belltech street performance shocks for trucks with anything from 2-4" and 4-7" flip kit or non flip kit specific.

i have a 4/6 but looks more like 4/7, i didnt cut the bump stops, i think im keeping them on just incase i hit a big bump. im running belltech street performance shocks.... she rides just like stock.

Good luck with your drop.

That's encouraging, thanks for the information, I will check into the shocks.

The Beltech Coils won't ship until around August 4th is what I'm being told.

And your truck looks bad ass btw!

I went down 2/3 and kept the factory shocks. Rides a hair stiffer than stock.

Blackjack325's truck is really nice with hes current drop kit ;)

Well, I'm currently with 2" Mcgaugy spindles, 4" rear Mcgaugy leaf springs. z71 1500 reg. cab 2009, thinking of going 4/6 soon, but need to fix the rides quality first. Stock shocks aren't that good IMO :P

I will try the factory shocks at 4", but it turns out that I may need to go 5" to get to the leveled look I am after.

I will take some on Saturday before I get done with my install.

I will take some at 2/4 and then at 2/5 if I decide I want the rear and inch lower, all depends on the 2/4 stance and measurements.

Mine has an inch of rake at 2/3, so a 2/4 would put mine perfectly level, but it also started as a 4x4 so the heights might be a little different.
