They might install it, but they wont warranty it. GM didn't make the parts that are on your drop, why would they replace it if it breaks? Not only that, but things like ball joints and stock front end geometry are sacraficed with dropped trucks, so they probably wouldnt warranty any suspension stuff either.

Most dealerships will send your truck to any of their shops that they farm out lift's and lower's to, and then just finance it into your payment, how do you think they have brand new 08 crew cabs with six inch lift's and 20's or a crew cab lowered on 22's with flowmaster etc. . . usually about all the dealership will do is put a billet grille in for you So I would just tell them you want it lowered or do like I did and drive it to a shop you like after you buy it, but most likely if you tell the dealer they are just going to send your truck out, and then yes your work will be warrantied in the shop's receipt and guideline.

Great! You just gotta ask. What can they say? no? I got enough nay's in the bar back in the day, but I got a few yay's too
I just left my Silverado with the dealer to put on new dynatech long tail headers, hwich they are doing. I shopped the install price around and my dealer came back lower. They have a higher shop rate per hour, but they quoted less than half the hours of a smaller shop. Then when the rental company didnt have a truck like they promised (because I really dont like driving cars anymore), he just threw me the keys to his company loaner. I dont know how a lot of dealers are going to pull through the tougher times coming up, but I think my dealer will do just fine. Service makes a difference.

well ****, I went up there today to look at the crew cab he was telling me about, and I pull up and see this beauty (would be a true beauty without the wing and stripes) sitting on the lot.
