07 nnbs seat swap air bag light prob?

I swapped my cloth manual seats for leather electric ones and everything bolted up and plugged in and works fine except air bag light and computer at shop said its driver seat? it doesn't have the sensor on the seat track like my old seat did so I took it off my old seat but there is no lug in for it can I slice it in somewhere and it work? the new leather seats came from a 07 Chevy 2500 truck ? thanks

I'm not looking at a track now could you just put a self tapping screw in it. Or find a power base off any 07.5 up 1500 truck sub tahoe yukon im a stickler for everything factory perfect no rigging allowed so I would do a correct track assembly.
i
That sensor tells the airbag the seat position so it can adjust deployment force as necessary so it's a significant factor used to gauge deployment force it's pretty important it be sending accurate data.

it will bot on in same spot as old seat just no plug to connect to so how would I get power to it?

disassemble seat and change the internal harness over, or start cutting up your old seat harness and build a short jumper harness from the main seat connector to the rail position sensor.
Again it's that one thing that screws you. You can also find a VIN for your year model truck and a LTZ or SLT truck and order the internal seat harness for that truck. Or start looking for a power drivers seat out of a 1500 burb sierra, yukon or truck and put a correct seat that's plug and play in and sell that one.
