07 LH6 to LY6 swap

Time to start ordering parts and had a few questions before I pull the trigger.
Looking at an 07 and 08 truck LY6. Will both bolt right up to my 07 Silverado without a problem? I read somewhere that the oil pan sensor might have changed spots over the years.
Will injectors need to be upgraded?
Any problem with these LY6's bolting up to the 4l60?
Anything to worry about with my LH6 being flex fuel?
What about the wiring harness going from AFM to VVT?
I was told there was a module available that adds two pins to the existing wiring harness to connect to the cam phaser, claiming that once tuned would work.
Would upgrading to a 4l80 in the future cause any problems with the wiring harness as well?
Lastly, any preferences on tuners? I've heard good things about Blackbear.

All these views and no replies? Heres a link to the VVT adapter I mentioned; Non-VVT to VVT Camshaft Conversion Harness Kit
Will this be compatible?

You should have no problem putting a ly6 in your truck. You may have to work some things out in the tune for sure; AFM, VVT, etc. Yes the ly6 will bolt directly up to the 4l60e, and yes you can do the 4l80e swap if you want to. As far as the flex fuel you should be good! Your truck has a bigger fuel pump from the factory vs the non flex fuel version. You can use the injectors that come with the ly6 or swap your flex fuel injectors out of the lh6. Either way this will have to be addressed in the tuning, for maximum performance/efficiency. Fairly straight forward swap though!

Thanks for the info. The motor finally came and I believe they sent the wrong stuff. I purchased a 6.0 motor, 6 speed trans, auto 4wd transfer case, and all of the accessories from a 2012 Silverado 2500hd. I was trying to buy an ly6 6l80 but aren't the options for that truck a l96 with a 6l90 behind it? And will there be any issues with the BCU with this new transfer case? Also wondering if shorty headers with gutted cats would be worth doing for this build. I was looking at 1 5/8 primary pacesetters to go with my magnaflow cat back. Open to suggestions

Did you go through with this Swap? I am close to pulling the trigger on doing this. Wondering if its compatible or am I going to have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get this done?
