Default 07 1500 rcsb w/5.3 or 07 2500 w/6.0

i was going to get a c5, but i need room for 3 people.

which one would you choose? why? I'm going to lower the hell out of it, full bolt-ons and cam. i was thinking 2500 with the 6.0 so i can get the manual trans. can you get a manual trans with the 5.3 in 1500?

Can you still get the manual trans in any of these trucks. I know that in 06 they offered the 2500 with 6.0 and 5 speed, but was told that they weren't going to offer it in 07's.

Get an 07 1500 Votec Max with the 6.0. That would be the hotter setup. Still all the bolt ons and have a little better power to weight ratio. Get the 4.10 gear factory, so you wouldn't have to mess with changing gears. I would like to drive one of those and see how they perform.

Trucks tested an 07 Max and it ran 16.2 stock! I take what they say w/ a grain of salt though.

I have an 07 V-Max Crew that went 15.35@90.2mph on 22's. 15.09@92.7mph with a tune. It made 300rwhp stock and 323 with the tune.
