How does the truck drive with the converter in there when your not being aggressive with it? Does the drivetrain have a looser feel, or is the only real difference when you lace into it? How about mileage? Did the converter have any effect on your gas mileage?
If I couldnt get it to run sub 15 with a tune intake and exhaust id be pretty bummed.

Hey man, well when you drive it you can definitely feel that it is in there... but, its not a bad feeling... if you accelerate slowly you can keep it at about 2100-2300 rpm to get you up to speed but if you want decent acceleration or half throttle you are gonna see it running 2700- 3200 rpm through the gears to get you up to speed. It feels really nice at about half to 3/4 throttle because it makes it seem like the gears are really close ratio and it keeps you in the power and feels good. Full throttle its awesome. It will easily break the tires loose in 2wd and pull to red line if you let it... In 4 high it hooks hard and goes. After it hits redline it only drops about 1300-1400 rpm and stays up there real high. For example, I'll hit 5800 rpm it will shift and only drop to 4400 rpm!

In town... i guess i might of lost a little bit of mileage but if it is really stop and go traffic your only gonna get 12 mpg's anyways.... and that is true stop in go in florida heat. Either way with or without the converter it sucks. If I have mixed driving ill get about 15 and on the highway at 70 mph it locks just like stock and I'll get about 17.5 mpg.
