Is it stock internally? Those shift point seems really high for a stock cam. That being said, it doesn't seem to hurt it at all.

Also, I see the 6l80e has the same craptastic "rubber band" shifts as the 4l60e.

It's been so long since I drove one, the closer gear ratios almost look like an aftermarket converter improved shift extension.
