Cooling fan? If you arent running electrics you might just be feeling fan vibration since you are at a light. I hate clutch fans. I would look at the fan pulley and blades if I noticed it when the fan locked up.

I had a mechanical 7 blade (non clutch) with a slightly bent pulley on my 70 Chevelle SS that I could really feel at the light. Can you feel it in just your legs or whole car or what?

Just tossing that out there as something to look at.

you can feel the vibration in the whole vehicle. it is troubling. this is a stock vehicle with only 6K miles on it. i will check out the fan today but i dont know if that is the deal. any other ideas?

Hmmm...I thought I posted this already , but let's try again.

While we're on the subject:
When I'm stopped in traffic or a light, I can feel a slight bump from what seems like the drivers side. The only thing I can image is maybe it's the tranny engaging/disengaging. No noise, just a gentle bump. Definately not the driveline clunk and I doubt a U-joint. Any ideas?
