I need to know which wire out of the four that plug into the fuel pump is the ground wire for the fuel pump not the sending unit.
I've got
gray = + for fuel pump
purple which I think is + for sending unit i don't know
black?
Black

which of the remaining 3 wires is the fuel pump ground?

It is going to be the black wire that is in the same connector as the grey one for the fuel pump

purple = fuel level sensor
gray = + for fuel pump
black = ground
Black = low reference Sensor ground

okay so the black wire on the far right is the ground to the pump. I forgot i had a volt meter it gives me an infinity symbol that's the reference sensor correct? when touching the ground on the pump and one of the black wires...

Okay the black on the outer edge was the ground wire it's also the thicker one of the two. Thanks Justin
