Default Which wheels fit?

Is there a thread somewhere for what fits on the GMT800?

New setup will be complete Ridetech system (wishbone rear setup) with Wilwood 6-piston fronts and Wilwood 4-piston rears

I want to run a 20-inch wheel but not sure how wide I can go in back? Will a 305 fit????

Get out the measuring tape.
1). Measure from the wheel mounting face to the closest point on the inside. Whether that is the inside of the wheel well or a point on the suspension. Put a long straightedge on the face and use that as your measuring point all around the brake rotor/drum.
2). Measure from the from the wheel mounting face to the lip on the outer wheel house. Again, using the straightedge to get to the points your tire may get close to.
3). Add those two numbers then subtract 1 1/2". That is the max width tire you can put in there. A 305 is 12" wide, so you need 12" at a minimum.
Using these numbers you can also determine offset and back space for the wheel. get back to us with your numbers and I can walk you through that also.

Theres this, but not sure if this is going to help you. I would think you are going to have search some build threads for sitting that low.

I just went ahead and bought some 22 x 9 wheels like these. I will make them work with 285s on the rear for now. Eventually I will order a 9-inch and may switch over to 5-lug. Thanks!

I bought these same wheels in a 20". I put a 275 mickey Thompson SS drag radial out back. It has great traction on the street. I did notice they needed a ton of weights to balance these rims though.

Well I hope that isn't the case. Depends on where you go. Many times the tire is marked to where the valve should be for balancing on race tires. Many shops don;t know this. We do a lot of biz with the local discount tire so I am gonna make sure they do the best they can. Hopefully a 285 will go on there since the BS is about .9 inch more than stock.

I did not know this. What does the valve mark look like?
