what fuel system?
 

Hey guys i have been doing some reading on the different fuel setups our trucks have return and retureless how do i find out wich one i have?:confused: My truck is a 07 silverado classic with the 4.8. what fuel system are guys using on the 07's for mods like a turbo setup.

99-02 where return, and 03+ are returnless, and most of the time its bigger pump and injectors.

A bigger pump and injectors is what i need then what fuel pump should i go with alot of people are using the walbro 255lph pump in the tank will this work or do i need something differnt? And for the injectors will the 8.1 44lbs(i think) work with the fi or are they to small.

255 in tank pump and 8.1L injectors will do well up to a certain point. How much boost are you planning on putting through that 4.8?

Its just going to be my dd so i think about 6-8psi (low) 10-12psi (hi)

That should work...you'll have to keep an eye on your fuel pressure and AFR. I think 10-12 psi might be close to the limits of that setup but it will probably work.

Would i need a fuel pressure regulator with the returnless system. If so do i have to run a return line back to the tank.

You're talking now about converting to a return style system. If you keep your erturnless system, you don't need an FPR or a return line. If you convert to a return style system, you will need a FPR and a return line.

Ok i can keep the returnless system i have right now put the intank pump in and the 8.1 injectors. with the turbo system and it will work just fine. that would be very good:D because it saves a bunch of time.

What controlls the fuel pressure?:confused: thanks
