:punch: :gay: :bang: I guess some people are really that stupid! |
Re: Well lookey here
I can not believe some one would spend that much time to make something like that.

Re: Well lookey here
Then he want's a lot of money, but then you gotta buy a chit load of parts, and spend countless hours in your garage to figure how to use it. Then you only get 15 seconds of boost. That is the stupidist supercharger system I have seen, and you can get complete kits for less than what that would cost!

Re: Well lookey here
I was asked to reply to this thread and verify that my product is not a 'scam'. I understand everyone's lack of belief that anything on the internet is true, but I can assure you this does work. There are several questions--
1-why does it cost so much?--the 62 CID Eaton unit is just under $1000 each MY cost buying 100 at a time--they retail for $1600 and dealerships get $2600 for them. 2--the electric motors are $275 each for 5500 watt 15,000 rpm @ 12V motors--I use three of them--if you can find them for less please let me know 3--the CNC billet 6016 T6 adapter plates & gears (6 pieces in all) cost me $425 each set not including the CNC design time, patenting attorney costs, etc. Many of you think nothing of buying a $600 NOS kit and then dropping $45/bottle into it for three runs. If you run my supercharger (15-20 full 1/4 mile runs per charge and compare that to NOS you will spend three times as much on NOS refills in one year than my entire kit. I sold at least 500 turbo and supercharger kits over the years to ex-NOS users once they found out the actual cost of NOS. While I have the entry level motors set to produce 5-6 psi boost, I have made 12 psi by simply adding cobalt magnets to the motors and running six batteries--three 24V circuits on my own car. BTW, the Oddysey batteries weigh only 15lb each. All sceptics can simply call Vortech Engineering and talk to John Rabago--Sales Manager--ask him about me and who Vortech sends custom design inquiries to--ME--Thomas Knight at Thomas Knight Turbos--Miami, Fla. 786-243-2000--BOOSTHEAD.COM Also call Paxton Superchargers, Cartech (my friend Corky Bell), Ford Motorsports (ask for Glenn Miller), GTPRO--ask for Brian, Magnuson Products--ask for Jerry Magnuson, and on and on. I have been in the business since 1978 and built my first turbo car in 1975. If a kit is available for a specific car it is foolish to get the electric supercharger. But 85% or all 4 & 6 cyl cars on the market do NOT have a supercharger that can fit their car. A custom built Vortech, Paxton, Powerdyne, or Eaton kit is $5000-$6000 installed. |
