Default Which Mail Order Tune?

I am looking to get a tune for my BONE STOCK SSS. I know everyone has their opinions about which one to go with. I also know that most tuners can tune a stock truck just as well as the others.

I fugure that if everyone that votes, puts a reason for their vote, it'll help everyone out.

Please don't include details on bad experiences (if there are any), I am not looking to start a flame thread.

Thanks for voting.

I've got a Nelson and love it. I've been thinking about getting a dyno tune in the future though

I've used Nelson for years and He has always taken care of me. Also his mailorder was pretty close to perfect on my truck.

Why are those the only 3 choices? Only 2 of them are sponsors, Nelson and Wheatly but if you're going to include others why not list Black Bear performance and Wester's too?

I've had my Nelson tune for a long time now and love it. It really woke the truck up.

Mainly because those are the three that I hear being tossed around this site. I didn't even consider that W4M isn't a sponsor, so if its a problem, please take it off. I am not trying to stir the ****, ya know.

As for Black Bear, I have never heard the name, so I know nothing about them. Westers I've heard of, but again, ignorant to the company.

I figured that I really can't go wrong with the poll choices, and I was looking for the majority opinion, as I am not that knowledgable on tuning.

No, it's no problem but I was wondering why you only chose those three. These polls are more about site polpularity than ability.
I came here from a site that favored Westers.

if Westers or black bear are as good as the others, let me know, I'll gladly investigate.

one thing about black bear is he provides you with the logging tool to log what your actual truck is doing. then you send it back to him and he writes a tune reflecting what changes will work best.

i don't know if any of the other tuners out there are doing this but in my mind that would be the most accurate way to tune an individual's truck short of a dyno tune.
