you do know this is the new members section correct? you should probably post in one of the other sections to get more feedback.

as far as answering your question i myself am running MT Et street radials... you might 2wanna look into the actual slicks though with a 17" wheel

I went and moved this into the General discussion area.

You need slicks for the track, no tire is going to stick 500 hp to the ground.

I TRIED THE 17" WHEEL WITH SLICKS BUT OVER DIAMETER WAS TOO SMALL IT BASICALLY JUST CHANGED MY GEAR RATION FROM 3.73 TO POSSIBLE 4.10 OR EVEN MORE THAN THAT. MY OVERALL DIAMETER IN 31" NOW WITH THE FACTORY 20"'S

how tall of a slick was available in 17s? thats just the way most do it though... i have 3.73s with stock tire size as a 29" because i have a 2/4 drop... for my ETs i run 26" tires, it changes my gearing but for the better imo when im doing 1/4mile

Here's a quote from blacksheep.
"On 28x11.5x16 ET Streets my truck went 1.48 60' on the exact same set up with 500rwhp on motor." He also had caltracs.
Your new here but Black Sheep now runs 9.94@133.

the tallest I could go at the time was 26 also, I havent run it in the quarter mile I ran in the 1/8 mile and was running out of gear at the finish. I was looking at Nittos new 20 street radials, overall height is 28.8 on those but dont know much about those. I was trying to keep that factory look and still track good, but I may have to go to a smaller wheel to get the height that I want. I want to have my cake and eat it too!

AWD and Toyo's, 730 HP to the ground and zero traction problems
