tire size with drop?

Well I need new tires and I'm about to put 2 inch LCAs and 2 inch hangers on my truck. And it should be overall a 2/5 drop cause I have 3 inch shackles already. I'm just wondering what's the tallest /widdest tire I can fit under it. I have 20s and the tire size is 275/45 right now.

Depends on the wheel offset/backspacing. I have seen 285/50/20s run with a 2/4

try some 295/45/20

Your current size would probably work out nicely IMO.

Like 02Bluestepside said... backspacing is key! honestly you should be fine with any size you run. rubbing shouldnt be bad out back up front you still should be fine with just a 2in drop unless your running like 345s hahaha

also... why are you going LCA's??

Unless you have the blitzkreig(sp?) shackles or you cut to fit the 2500 shackles, you don't have 3" shackles. 3" taller shackles does not equate to a 3" drop.

As far as your question, no one can say for sure without knowing what kind of wheels you have, or more importantly their width, offset/backspacing. Not all 20" rims will fit the same. I tuck 30" tall tires with almost a 5/7 drop but that's only because I have perfect backspacing.

F4atal... Getting lcas cuz I'm getting them for 100 dollars brand new from a Friend. Come with new shocks too.
RandomHero... Don't have any of those shackles. But trust me there 3 inch

i used to have belltech 6403, they were 3" and fit with no modification.
