Yeah- just gonna get the whole arm. Gonna see what I can see when doing the tie rods, then order everything else from there; the hallowed 11001 spindle shackle kit too................

someone mentioned earlier about replacing the whole arms instead of pressing in new ball joints. i have personally done ball joints on 3 cars and i will never do it again. its a huge pita.

Well I've never pressed BJs in or out so I figure when I do it if it's really that bad next time around I'll get the whole arm. still waiting on my NAPA outter tie rods, supposed to be tomorrow. Also had the 11004 McGaughy kit on the was and the black Energy control arm bushings...............

OK- waiting for the kit to get here, any surprises that I'll run into removing LCA? Any specific tools; pickle fork, larger sockets- my complement only goes up to 7/8"/ any recommended shim for rear axle? Thanks, and any other advice is more than greatly appreciated. Better snap some B4 pics, huh...........

on my 05 i had a hard time getting the inner tie rods off. the rental tool wouldn't stay on, i bent the harbor freight tool. i ended up buying a tool called the speedy universal tie rod remover. it was awesome and so easy to use compared to the others

Thanks Terrav- another issue, A/C fan motor petered out on the 95* day B4 yesterday. jiggling the controls and on and off it seemed the fan wanted to come on barely. So when got home I disconnected the battery with ignition on over nite and A/C worked again. Happened again yesterday did same fix but on full setting it blows so slightly and if I apply brakes or not rolling movement. Is the resistor or some relay going south?
TIA

10-4 I think I bought some time, I removed the cover down there and started jiggling plugs and the blower motor came on for an instant. then I unplugged the lowermost clip plug passenger well and plugged it back in and I have cool air again! Realizing I'm probably on borrowed time anyways- I'll get a resistor and tail when I'm getting other parts. Thanks. Oh yeah- do I really hafta unbolt the keys, to de tension the torsion bars I'd guess to take off the LCAs?
