Tahoe Air Dam Installed

Got the Tahoe air deflector in today and had to throw it on. Took like 15 mins. Im happy with it. It was like $70 bucks shipped on gmpartsgiant.com. GM part number is 15224193.

How does it actually attach to the other plastic spoiler? Could it handle repeated removal and install? I was thinking of using one of these for track days and remove for street driving. The truck is way too low to run all the time.

I'll try to take some pics later. It has two clinch style captive nuts on each end. I just fitted the way I liked and drilled through the stock lower bumper valence piece to attach the ends. The rest of it slides over and kind of clips onto the stock lower bumper valence. I also drilled and added a bolt and nut in the middle for extra assurance. I could easily remove and install it in 5 mins.

Excellent. Thanks for the description. I may try one out.

Nice! Just did the same thing on mine, drilled 3 holes through the center section and just used zip ties for easy removal later. Curious about MPG differences.
