stock speaker sizes?
 

I am going to replace my factory speakers this weekend. What are the sizes that come in the 2001 GMC single cab sierra's?

Crutchfield only shows 2 different types....but I could swear i have 6 speakers....

4x6 behind my head
6-3/4 in the door
than just above that one another smaller speaker.

Anyone know what speakers will fit? PLus any aftermarket suggestions for me to get as replacements that will fit in the stock places without modifications? I am looking at the alpine, kenwood, so on....

The tweeters are counted as two separate speakers for a total of 6. I've got polk ex2 components in the doors and infinity 4x6 reference plates in the back doors. If you're not changing out the head unit or adding an amp you'll find that aftermarket speakers will be underpowered by the stock radio.
