Default Stepside bedside replacement?

Anyone ever done it? How hard is it? It's got to be easier than a fleetside because it's not welded on.

bolt off and bolt on...easy as hell. remove all bolts, remove the tail light, remove the bolts from the bed side on the rods that hold the fender on each side of the back tire and remove the clips holding the fender well to the fender. remove the plastic cover on top (just snaps off).

grab bed side from the bottom and lift it up/out until the top side comes loose.

Well the removal part would be simple as the fender is GONE! lol guy had a little run in with a guardrail and just removed the rest of it. Thanks, I was mainly figuring out where to look for mounting points and what could be missing/broke so this gives me an idea. On top of the price of a bedside I need to add in cost of clips, bolts, cap, and possibly support rods. Thanks, I appreciate your information. It's an 04 with 97k miles, needs passenger door, fender, and bedside $2500. The 4-6 inch section of cab between door and bed looks like it will need a bit of massaging as well. From my rough calculations it will need about $700-900 worth of panels and associated nickel and dime parts, and probably $1500-2000 at the bodyshop to paint bedside, fender, and door, blend tailgate, hood, and back of the cab, then repair the light damage on the cab.
