Stall converter with factory lq9

You could probably snag one from a pick a part. I don't know if a parts store would be worth it. A GM Genuine new one is $318 with a $100 core charge. Might as well just buy aftermarket at that price.

Have you seen what some companies are charging for them lately??? A remanufactured one would likely be cheaper than GM other wise used.

There's a guy local to me selling a new monster transmission brand 2300-2500 stall for $200. I know it's a pretty small stall but wouldn't it be pretty much comparable to the trailblazer?
Seems like a steal at that price

A google search of reviews including the BBB is highly recomended if you are considering any of there products or doing business with them. Look real close at the Alleged Positive reviews as well. Some of them are blatantly obvious that they are fake.

My previous converter is a Circle-D 3200 stall that's actually a Trailblazer that's been modified to stall at a higher speed with upgraded bearings and an anti ballooning plate. Chris from Circle-D says it's good to 700hp. I replaced it with a triple disk Circle-D 3600 stall and the truck drives exactly the same during normal street driving. When it's playtime the new converter gets the RPM up in a higher powerband, only then I can tell the differences between the two with the extra torque multiplication.
