Default Spark Plug Indexing!!

Is there any reason to index your spark pkugs or is anyone doing it to our motors?

I know everyone use to do it on the old SBC, for more equal combustion.

I did some more reading about it on LS1tech and there are a lot of guys that say it is definetly worth it but a pain to do. Especially on the f-bodies and camaros.

I'm going to do it when I put my new heads on.

How would you do that? I would think that the position of the electrode would be dependent on how the threads were indexed to the electrode.

I USED TO INDEX THE SPARK PLUGS ON MY DRAG CAR... BUT UNLESS YOUR MAKING OBSCENE AMOUNTS OF POWER OR HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MISFIRES WHERE YOU WOULD NEED THE CHARGE COMING STRAIGHT INTO THE ELECTRODE, I WOULDNT BOTHER... YOU WILL NOT EVEN GET IN ANY WAY A MEASURABLE INCREASE

Yeah in the day I used to do it. Never felt or measured one iota of difference but it felt cool
