Default Silverado Gauge Cluster Problem

Just noticed the truck started doing this. The problem is random. The gauge cluster does not power up when the key is in the run position. After the truck is started the cluster powers up like normal. After it sits for a little while, it will do the same thing.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about:

Any ideas?

03- up are known to have cluster issues. Stepper motors and so on.

If not that it could be related to the ignition switch circuit.

I'd guess that you have a bad ignition switch, but there are other possibilities.
