Default silverado brake upgrade

Retired USAF, Am new to the site & have never posted anything before so be easy on me this go around... Have owned my 03 Silverado LS for 9 years & have kept mileage low, only 61k. Recently swapped the factory 16" aluminum wheels for a set of the 20" chrome "LTZ" wheels. First time I touched the brakes after leaving the wheel/tire shop I realized that the next upgrade would be brakes & not under the hood to help the anemic 4.8. Any ideas on a bigger brake/rotor/caliper package that will stop the beast but not break the bank?????

Hydroboost helps too!

Towing a car back from the drag strip and i ran a red light. had the pedal down as hard as i could and it didnt help.

That next week i figured out how to do the hydroboost swap and now it stops great with twice the weight of that car/trailer i towed.
