6.0 lq4/lq9 sourse
It seems like a lot of guys here have swapped in lq4/lq9 in their 4.8/5.3 trucks.
Where do you get your 6.0 engines?
There's lots of engines with less than 10 miles in the $2500-3000 range on car-parts.com. Is it considered a "safe buy" to get an "less than 10 miles engine" from one of the big salavge yards?
I spoke to a guy that builds sandrail engines and he got his stock truck engines from companies that buy longblock/crate engines in bulk from GM and then sells to insurance companies. Has someone here been able to buy an engine from such company?
