Default Brand new bare TBSS intake for $95 FYI

Just to let u know go to rock auto select the parts finder look up (it's the big red button ) choose 2006 or 2007 Chevrolet , then choose trailblazer, then choose 6.0 engine . Then it will bring up a page with options then choose engine. Scroll down to intake manifold. There is to be found a brand new AC Delco trailblazer SS intake for $95 . I dont think u can beat that price. I was trying to make a link but it would just bring u to rock auto website . I thought it was a great deal so I bought one I hope it helps others

Just curious, what is it exactly that makes the TBSS intakes so much better? Just better flow characteristics?

Well there the same as the nnbs trucks that have 87 mm TB and the intake itself has taller runners which I'm told translates to power and coming in lower In the Rpm range . The opposite I've been told is the ls6 intake that has shorter runners which allows for peak power at higher Roma and the shorter runner allow the ls6 to rev higher. Evidence of the intake is here ( https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...inally-455536/) where it made 15rwhp and 18lbs/tq across the board . I hope that helps answer ur ?

I'm confused as well.

Does my stock fuel rail work with this intake?

What throttle body do I buy to go with it? I've got a drive by cable setup right now.

Can you convert the DBW throttle bodies to DBC?

I've searched around but haven't found any answers.
