Breaking loose those steering rack bolts sucks! They are really tight! I thought i was going to pop a ********.

I changed mine last weekend. But only because I dropped a lifter like a retard. Didnt use any rtv. Felpro gasket from oriellys. And cleaned the pan and block really well and doesn't leak at all.

I didn't have that problem, just every thing else lol. Try some Kroil next time, a little pricey but worth it imo.

I thought I was the only one that ran into having to unbolt the steering rack??? I dint see anyone talking abut it. and I went to do mine and I cant get the pan down the rack is in the way...
