Question No HORN with fob or horn button - 2002 Silverado -

No access to any wiring diagrams at the moment so I am kinda screwed. I have no horn with the Key Fob, or with the horn button on steering wheel.

There's like 4 relays in the electrical box under the hood, and I switched 2 different ones with the horn relay to verify if the horn relay was working or not. When plugged into the horn relay terminals, none clicked like they normally would do when they are working.

Horn fuse under hood (and next to relay) has no voltage on either side of it when applying horn via the button, or when using key fob to PANIC or even if to verify doors are locked. All other fuses both under the hood, and on left side of dash, show good.

I would "assume" that if the horn button on steering wheel had a problem, then the key fob would still make it work? It appears that there is simply no voltage going to the fuse or relay and I have no idea where to look for a problem...

Any ideas?

btw, this is a new issue as I drove the truck 3 days ago and know for a fact that the horn worked because a teeny-bopper nearly ran into me by merging a little too soon, and I beeped at her to let her know I was there...now nothing...

On your relay you have a diagram showing which two pins are power in and power out (I think 30 to 87). Get a wire and jumper those holes in the fuse box and see if the horns blow. If they do- bad relay or bad button or column harness. If not, then most likely blown horn fuse or dead horns themselves (not unusual).

Sorry, I didn't update...

Horns actually stopped working. I guess one has been dead for a while.

Thanks for the schematic though. I saved it for future reference.

Thats what happens when you use the horn to call in the cattle.
