Default NNBS 2007 RCSB Black Thus far - picture

I know its only 2 pictures at this point, but I still want to get some opinions on what you all think.

Its a work in progress, and the wheels are only a temporary thing. I had them laying around, and they are much better than the stock 17's. I fully intend on getting some black 20's - likely the MB Senna's.

As far as powertrain goes, I am all stock 4.8L with TERRIBLE 3.23 gears. I was quoted at $700 for 4.10 swap parts and labor, which I think will be my first modification. I have a summit super turbo muffler for now, which I hardly call a performance mod.

My goals are to run a low 13 to mid high 12ish range with a 4.8.

as far as appearence goes, i am pretty much done except for the 20's and then getting a roll pan to ditch that ugly chrome bumper.

performance i am still up in the air. i have done H/C before, and i can do the labor no big deal, but i think i may wait for the magnacharger and slap that on there with some longtubes and mabye the gt2-3 cam and a 3000 stall. i think that should get me to my goals.

any recommendations on performance, and what do you think of the looks thus far?

thanks!

looks nice. those nnbs are really growing on me. the only thing i would say is to lower it. i think that they are so high stock. maybe a 5/7 and black rims like you said would look great!

to lower the rear, i used the standard 2" drop shackle, and then i took out the lifting blocks that GM throws in there for another 1" - 1.5". no cutting of the bump stops or any other type of modifications needed. easy work for a good 3" drop - so much better than the super stink bug look GM gives it in factory form.

i have always wondered about those rotrex superchargers.....maybe i will look into them.

I've said it before and I will say it again, the NNBS trucks look the best in the RCSB. That thing looks evil

Agreed on the drop, also I know the truck is black and so are the plastic parts, but black mirror caps (ie painted) and black painted door handles would smooth it out even more. Caps are easy (snap on and off), can buy them pre-painted from GM, pretty cheap too. Door handles just cruise e-bay, guys are always putting on chrome ones and trying to get some money back by selling off the painted style. Just did my Sierra and the difference is really quite amazing.

Neat truck!
