Default New hub and speed sensor question

So I just replaced both front hubs on my06 ccz71. So everything is fine until I drove it. The dang speedometer is now 3 to for mph faster than actual speed. Wtf happened? Replaced with timken hubs

Sounds unrelated to each other.

The ABS can be non functioning but you'll still have the speedo working. Plausible that you have a real VSS issue or the cluster is at fault. Stepper motors are super common issues in those years.

Hmmm. Well it was fine before and the cluster is only a few weeks old from a circuit board medics rebuild.

the front wheel hubs only feed into the ABS. shouldn't affect speedo.

Did you put smaller tires on the rear at the same time and forgot that you did?

If the front speed sensors read different than the rear the ABS would freak out. That's how it's designed, it activates when it sees a variance in wheel speeds. So I highly doubt you all the sudden have a speed reading issue do to changing the front sensors.
