I have never dealt with them. I have dealt with businesses that are that busy before. I wouldn't drop anything off without a date as to when it will be completed. Whenever I deal with businesses that are that busy it always takes months longer for it to get done than you expected, and questionable quality. There are lots of people that deal with them and are happy from what they say. Just my $.02

Another buddy told me about this thread.Im having the SAME issue.I tried to give them a heads up ( like they request do to being busy) when I was a week away from receiving my cam and getting my compression bumped up.So I of course need another tune.I called the past 2 and a half weeks.Multiple messages and emails.I recieved 2 calls back over the time period. And just barely missed one by 2 minutes.I called right back and got the same answering machine that I know by heart now.....

Don't take this personal for I see it as business. But I don't believe the the the phone messages and emails are priority in getting returned.I have all my emails sent and phone bill to back up my 3-6 calls daily to back it up.And emails.I also had the same issue about 2 months ago.it took me 5 weeks of phone tag and being told the tune will be sent out the next day. Then waiting a few days to see if I get the typical UPS tracking number emailed to me thats associated with the tune being on its way? Finally get ahold of someone a week later and find out the tune wasnt sent, and I had to tell again what I wanted changed. That was only for shift points also.

I'd be happy with my $$/stock computer back, and Id send them their tune back.
If it was a freebie tune that I got hooked up with? Then yea I'd be patient as hell. But I paid for it....

When guys tell me they hear back from their tuner no longer than 4 days..?
Hindsight is 20/20...

I agree his tunes are good.I have no complaints about mine. When it comes to getting another one though....
Its my own fault.I shouldve done all my mods/tune in one shot.Instead've thinking I could get updates as advertised.Oh well, live and learn.

I'm not making any excuses about anything, I just wanted to point a few things out.

The only thing we advertise about retunes are:
You're entitled to free retunes and you only get 3 free ones per year.

We do not make promises when retunes are going to ship, your retune is taken, and simply put in line.
ETA is determined by the amount of retunes ahead of you.

But Erica typically tells customer 5-10 days.

And Riley, it didn't take 5 weeks to ship your previous retune.
Yes, it took me a bit to answer your question about how you would like a more aggressive tune, but that is not an emergency.
Just because someone says they didn't feel the difference with our tune, doesn't mean I'm going to ship one our right away. I usually give the customer a week or more to drive around to ensure it's fully "learned".
9 times out of 10, the customer agrees the tune finally set in.

But from the time I answered you and told you we would send out a retune, which was on 1st, your retune shipped out in 10 business days, on the 13th. Sometimes they ship out right away, sometimes they take a long time, just depends on how busy we are.

And for anybody who calls and wants an answer NOW, please just call one time, leave a message and we WILL get back to you. It doesn't help to call 10 times in a roll and leave no message.
Or, get on our website and send an email to all of us, one of us is bound to be checking email and will get back to you.

To everyone who is enjoying our tune and long relationship, I really appreciate the business and we couldn't do it without you!!

Also, to anyone who is putting up with our busy time of year due to the raceday, thanks for being patient, we will get back to you!

thanks,
allen

Your right,it didn't take 5 weeks to ship out the tune once you guys did tune it.The day I was told it would be shipped out in the next few days. That's when it took 5 weeks for it to get shipped.I wasn't speaking with you directly over the matter.Whether or not the information got passed on to you or not?I don't know.I was dealing with Erica. All the dates of emails confirm that.I can forward them all to you if there's any doubt.

The time it took for you to personally respond to me on this website?Couldve easily been responded to my emails sent to your websites AND Ericas. But if we are doing it on here now? That's fine.

When you find the time:
I'm going to be installing a Voodoo Hyd Roller Cam
LS1 LS2 267/273
•Advertised duration(Int/Exh):267/273
•Duration @ .50 (Int/Exh):217/223
•Gross Value Lift(Int/Exh): .549"/.549"
•LSA/ICL:113/109
•Valve Lash (Int/Exh):Hyd/Hyd
•Rpm range 1800-6400
Part#60513
Grind#VDLS-267

There's all the cam info.
I'm also bumping up my compression to 10.5 to 1.
And getting a valve job done.
All my info is still the same in your system at work.I'll pm you my address and other pertinent info also.

If it's going to be longer than a month or two? Please let me know so I can make alternate plans in getting my engine work taken care of.

I'll quit leaving messages and emails at your shop. I'll just check back on this thread for any info pertaining to this matter.Thank you for givng back some sortve response.

I'm gonna suggest you email any info you want added to the retune form, I won't be checking this thread for retune requests.
