Default Need Tips/Advice for Big Race Tomorrow!

Here is the deal. I will be running the Wood Haulers truck against a modded Lightning tomorrow night and would like for you guys to chime in and give me some input. The Lightning has a 6lb. lower pulley, catback exhaust, and intake, and claims to run 10.50's 1000 ft. times (I think thats about 12.6 in the 1/4). Right now I think the Hauler is capable of 12.80-12.90's, in full street trim. Do ya'll think that removing the spare, tailgate, and everything possible inside the cab... (clutter behind the seat), (and also the fact I weigh about 150 and he weighs 280), will be enough to get me close enough to possibly holeshot him and hold on. The spot we will be running at is in between 1000 ft. and a 1/4. The Lightning runs on Nitto 555's and I will be running ET Streets. What do you ya think....any wiehgt reduction secrets or help much appreciated.

Oh yeah I WILL post the videos when I get back.

Take off everything you listed, it all adds up. It should be a good race, boy I sure do wish I was back in Arkansas right now, I'd like to get in on some of this action!
