Default Mod 4.8 add turbo or swap to 6.2 add turbo

I have a 07 NBS with a 4.8 and 26" wheels and would like to swap into a new 6.2 after i saw a SS with 28" & charged KILL a 5.0 with a few mod on the street. At first i was just going to mod the 4.8 and add turbo but that race made think about just a complete engine swap. I know you can't make of for cubic in but would it be worth the switch. Do anybody know if i would have to change my transmission and etc in the truck just to get the 6.2 to work.

5k to 7k but prefer to be less but everybody know how that goes seems like you always spend more then you set out to spend. That why i don't really know if the 6.2 will be worth it if i had to do alot of other mod like new tran etc

Turbo requires new transmission too most likely....

I would do the 6.2 with heads and cam. Build it for torque, it will be much more fun to drive IMO.

If done right you can rape plenty of new 5.0's with a 4.8 and turbo. Guy on here made 550 with turbo and cam 4.8. You might make a smidge under 500 with a h/c 6.2

Well i decided just to go with the Turbo and gradually upgrade everything else in the truck trans, rearend, etc the later go with another engine. can any of you guys point me in the direction of some good turbo guys in the Charlotte NC area. I plan on going with a stage 3 kit from Trick Performance
