Will the compass/temp feature work if my truck has regular mirror? Thanks

You have to add the sensor behind the grille and run power to the mirror. Not sure if much is needed beyond that.

Don't have the part number but I can you can find it with a quick google search.
It goes behind the grille on the crossbar that runs between the two angled braces infront of the radiator. On the driverside of the bar there should be 2 holes that it snaps into.

The power is already there.

It is entirely plug-and-play. All the wiring and plugs are there with the factory wiring harness (taped up). You will just need to buy the mirror (w/plug) and temp. sensor. I purchased a mirror off of Ebay and got the sensor from the dealer. I don't know what they are getting for the mirrors lately but the sensor was like $15.00-$20.00. I do not remember the GM part # for the sensor though. Easy look-up for your local dealer. The only other item you should get at the dealer, if you don't have any yourself, is a plastic push-in clip to mount the sensor. This is an easy addition to your truck. Well worth the effort. :D
