LTZ air dam (valance)
Has anyone happened to have ordered an LTZ valance from amazon? I just rolled the dice on one.

Well, I've got an update, sort of.
I ordered this on the 2nd and had it delivered to my parents place. That's where my truck is being stored, and modified. I went with free shipping to keep the cost down and because I'm in no hurry.
Where I felt like I rolled the dice, was on the fact that there was no photo. I figured at a $150 it was worth the risk to see if it showed up in black, or an gray.
Here's the problem, I'm not at my moms house. I won't be there for about two more days. So I called out there and asked them to open it up. They told me it showed up in black. Yes!
That's at least 65 bucks cheaper shipped for a black valance than the nearest competitor, LMC.
I'll get some photos up as soon as I can. Until then, it looks as if Amazon.com is the best place to order the valance from.

It's for a bumper that looks like this:
I want one so I can do exactly what's pictured. Cut it out for the intercooler.
I believe they came on 99-02 Silverado's that were Z71's, but those were grey. (Like the photo.) In 2006, the Suburban LTZ got the same bumper, but it was black.
Since its a 1 year only thing, the black one is usually more expensive. I was prepared to pay 220.00 shipped for the black one through LMC. I decided to try this one on amazon. If it showed up grey, I'd either run it, or paint it.
I'll get pics up when I can. I just wanted a factory looking piece for my truck that allowed for some airflow to an intercooler.

That's a Z71 Tahoe / suburban front valence .
They were grey , now like you said the 06 suburban LTZ ( pretty rare) had this valence in black.
This is the same valence I have on my truck , I bought it from a local LKQ salvage yard ( they sell new aftermarket parts also) , I paid 140$ , it is made by key parts/cobra king .
Found the fog lights cheap on fleabay

Alright guys, I've got a few pictures for you.
First off, the box that it came in was huge! I guess that's good packaging on Amazon's part.
Here are a couple of shots comparing it to my factory part. You can clearly see it didn't come gray.
This sticker was on it. Other than that made in Taiwan was cast into plastic, on the backside.
