Default Limp Mode after 1st start of the day

When I crank the truck for the 1st time in the morning it runs fine for a couple of mins then when I get around the corner it goes into limp mode and the SES light flashes at me. It will do that for a few mins then go right back to running fine and the flashing light goes away. Then it runs fine the rest of the day.

This did it once about a week ago and I thought it was just a glitch but now its done it the last 2 days in a row.

Im going to reflash the PCM this afternoon. is there anything else that you can think of that it might be?

Also I have a wheel bearing assy (that has the ABS built into it) that has gone bad and being changed this morning, Could that cause the limp mode?

Stop by AutoZone or Advance Auto. They can tell you what the code is being stored. That will at least give you an idea of where to start looking.

I have HP Tuners and it would not store a code.

I think I had a corrupt tune so I went back to the tune before and it has been working fine ever since.

Thanks for the reply
