L76 L92 confusion
Ok guys here is a question so the nbs trucks have the IV vortec max 6.0 that outputs 367 hp correct now that engine is a L76? are the heads and intake from that engine square port meaning L92 or are they cathedral heads and intake? Isn't the L76 intake a square port intake?

L76 Car intake is rect port. It was on a L76 car engine in Austrailia only. It has the same port config as L92 heads. L76 Vortec Max engine uses L92 heads but is rated less HP. It has a L76 truck intake. There wouldn't be any confusion if GM didn't use the same engine code for 2 different damn engines.:eyes: The LS3 intake is the same intake as a L76 car intake.

L92=truck L92 = 6.2L truck engine LS3 = 6.2L car engine L76 = 6.0 truck engine (USA) L76 = 6.0 car engine (USA G8 GT) L76 = 6.0 car engine (first seen in Australia) All engines above use the sqaure port "L92" style heads. The car engines have the "L76" intake and the truck engines have a truck version of that |

I see that clarifies it so the L76 truck intake is also called the L92 intake rite?
