Exclamation hydroboost on 2wd with rack & pinion steering

i recently bought a hydroboost setup from a member on here and will be installing it soon, i have seen all the right ups for the guys with gear box steering, but cant find anything on the rack and pinion.

it may be a simple swap, to be honest i have not actually looked around on my truck to see how everything would hook up, figured i would ask on here first

Thanks

I didn't do anything differently on mine. Very straightforward install.

started on the swap tonight and everything was going good, I removed the vacuum booster and got the hydroboost bolted in and then I started on the high pressure line. So I jacked the truck up and unbolted the line coming out of the pump and then it went downhill from there.

when trying to remove the line from the gear box it's freaking stuck! I spent nearly 2 hours tonight before giving up, my 11/16" line wrench was not going on the the fitting so I tried 18mm then I ground a slot in an 18mm box end so I could use it like a line wrench, that still slipped.

so I'm going to try again tomorrow after work. I plan on just pulling off the gear box and rack and pinion
