if you get a true walbro pump, should be very reliable. no ebay "255lph" junk. they are just as quiet as stock also. part # is gs340 i believe.

thank you very much

Most people have good luck with the Walbro. But... the first one I had in my GTO (GS340) only lasted 3 years.

My Walbro is definitely not quiet, but I like the subtle whine it has. It's been going strong for 6 months or so now.

Like others I would say if you get a Real Walbro all should be just fine.

My buddy has over 30k miles in a pair of walbro with zero issues. Just make sure you purchase them from a reputable vendor and always keep plenty of fuel in the tank to keep the cool.

Yep like above guys said a real one is very reliable, the key to fuel pump life is keep fuel above 1/4 tank IMO, keeps the pump cool and less prone to starving/sucking dirt off bottom of tank.

What Tim said, keep that pump cool. Don't run the tank till the light is on, keep it above 1/4 and the pump will be happier.

any trimming or anything like that needed for it to work ?
