How much did you pay for your NNBS CCSB @ the dealer?
Got approved for the 0% deal going on currently, Looking at a CCSB LT with 5.3L/6sp/20's/3.42's/locker and little other things here and there for $31,900, before I go flip the bill I want to know if it reasonable to work them down a little more or if I have them down enough?
The bit of research that I've done so far seems to show a lot of people paying that same amount for a 4.8/4sp/stockwheels/no real options truck? Any info is much apreciated! -Mark |
In all honesty the 5.3 will be a complete dog in a CCSB although others will disagree.
A 6.2 6 speed would be my personal choice |
I haven't priced them out but I think you could easily talk them down into the high 20's. I got 2005 new off the lot CCSB with the same options for 23K but it wasn't a NNBS but I can't imagine them charging so much more just because it's in it's 2nd year.
Anyways, hope you get what you want! |

I just bought a 09 Crew Cab over the Mem Day weekend sale just a couple of days before GM declared bankruptcy. The truck was $32,900.00 MSRP. It has the Power Package Plus(towing package:5.3,6spd,elec fans, eng oil cooler, trans fluid cooler, trailer hitch, auto locking diff, etc). It also has the Exterior Package which added about $1K to the MSRP. They gave me $8,200 off of MSRP plus I had an additional $1,500 in GM rebate dollars on my GM credit card so I got almost $10K off MSRP. It went from 32,9K down to 23,2K plus tt&l out the door. No bad. I won't get a deal like that again. When the salesman told me how much he was giving me off I told him I was headed out the door with my checkbook in my hand. I now have the truck keys and the clear title in my hand.

I bought my 09 EC Silverado the day GM declared bankruptcy. MSRP on my truck was $33,750.....1LT with leather, Chrome 20s and HD trailer option. I paid $23,950 OTD, It took going to three different dealers to get that kind of deal. The first dealer only wanted to give me 6% off the sticker, he said that was fair since GM was giving me a $5,000 rebate, I walked out and never went back.....

I think those deals are gone. GM won't be declaring bankruptcy again so those prices are probably just a memory. I had a good deal back in Jan., but I passed it up. GM was offering $5K off for current GM owner loyalty dollars. I waited for months for another deal not knowing GM was about to declare bankruptcy. As it turns out I got an even better deal. In Feb, Mar, Ap and May you could see trucks and cars just sitting on the car lots for months on end without selling so GM had to do something. I'm just glad I waited an extra year to get the 6L90 6 speed transmission. Had I bought in 08 which I almost did I wouldn't have come even close to the deal I just got on my 09.
