Staging Lane
2005 Suburban 1500 4x4
Bought at 165K from original owner. I think the only issues he had was exhaust manifold bolts around 100K-120K (was at the dealer 3 times).
At 197K put a trans in it because direct clutch got wiped out, still was drivable but would set a code and then command full line pressure and shift harsh.
223K wiped out a lifter and took the cam with it all in about 10-15miles. Pissed me off because the 5.3 still ran pretty good before that happened.
Everything else is/was pretty original. In the middle of a reman LQ4 swap.

2002 ecsb 4.8 silverado with 245,488 on it.
New oem fuel pump at 241k
Has a knock sensor code, and it's probably time for ball joints, bearings, shocks etc...truck just drives so good still, freezing cold ac, great commuter/beat around ride.
Keep thinking about repaint, new shocks/springs, stock 6.0 repower, just refreshing it, and letting it go another 245k.

My 05 2500 HD 6.0 4x4...yes it has the dreaded no prndl light lol
This was about a month ago.
On a related note, im close to doing a 370 rebuild on it and thought id let you guys know about oir complete rebuild kits (or just rering/gasket kits) for the ls engines. Perfect for a nice hd rebuild, nearly any size piston/application, customizable, and great on the budget. More complete than summit, jegs, amazon etc.
If you want more info pm or email me!!

Just about to turn 384,000 in my 2007 Silverado Classic 4.8L It got an engine at 308,000 but the trans is still the original, albeit getting unhappy. I'm trying to see if it will make it to 400,000 before I swap it.

Slowest turbo build ever!

Well my truck in my sig pic just rolled over the 200,000 mile mark about a week or two ago. Still runs pretty strong with the fairly basic mods it has. The original trans still feels pretty good, occasionally has a moment but shows no sign of impending failure and has never been touched other than a flush every 50k miles.

I am at about 150k on a 2007 Sierra 1500 SLT Crew w/5.3L. In my case I pulled the AFM/DOD at 139k and swapped in another cam. There was no reason, just wanted a little more power.
