How can you trick the fuel gauge

Got all codes canceled(evap system, fuel tank pressure, blah, blah). Now I need to get the low fuel light to go off. Then I'm gonna mount a fuel gauge beside my fuel pressure gauge that will work with the 0 -90 ohm sending unit in the cell. So any suggestions on how to get the low fuel light to go out.

I imagine you could put a certain resistor across the stock sender wires to make the truck think there is fuel in the tank. I don't know what the stock resistances for full and empty are though. If the truck thinks theres gas in the tank then the light will go out. :)

I talked to a guy earlier that said they are 40 -250 ohms,so we're gonna try the resistor thing like you say. Thanks
