i know she's got an LS1 swap in that truck, she ran it at the ls1tech.com spring break shootout...it ran ok there, i think low 13s maybe, not quite as quick as it seems to be now though.

Look at our fastest truck list.....she is number 2.(5.7 ls1,heads,cam,gears converter)Thats badass.Doesnt show any nitrous or s/c for mods....just think what it could run with a poweradder :eek2:

that has to be power adder....Mix ran his 11.91 with a heads/cam/gears/converter/nitrous combo, and that was on a 100 shot. no way she's that close on motor alone. atleast i hope not...if she is i might have to revise my plans a little.

She must have some serious gear and a very loose converter. Not a lot of MPH for 12.2's, but kick ass 60's. 125 shot and that truck is close to 10's.

After thinking about it she probably has a 100 shot on it. That would make sense, she was running low 13's at the SBSO. What ever the case, I really like her truck! :cool:

I been to Evadale when she was running this truck and it is very impressive. Her father says the truck has a LS6 engine with head work, sleeper cam,and headers. It has lots of suspension work done to it and a 4000 stall Yank converter. It has no power adders, thats the first thing I looked for under the hood.

you wouldn't have been able to see my power adder either bigdonls1....so, she has ls6 heads, with head work...very nice. but a small cam, some head work and headers wont get her where she is.

with a zo6 {405hp}motor then head work and headers, and I am sure some other goodies , I could see it.

Why is it so hard to believe? LOTSOFUN is running low 13's with this:

I can see low 12's out of a similar truck that is running a nicely worked LS6, 4000 stall & suspension work. Is she running a 4-link? Removed sway bar?

Guys, this truck has a 5.7l LS1 in it with TEA heads and a TR224 cam. It did have the TR old man cam (215/220 115) in it, but they changed it out to something more aggressive. It has a Yank converter, all the bolt ons, and is 100% n/a. She and her dad are super cool and really have done a nice job on the truck.

What ever she did to her suspension i want in somebody tell me what she did so i can do it.... shes damn near yankin em! Lotsofn's truck is gotta have some really nice suspension too....he lanuches like an animal too...so whats up stop holding out and let me in on the little secrets cuz if a 6.0,ASMs,procharger,3200 stall and slicks on a RCSB dont give me some mids 13s im gonna shoot myself.. i wanna launch like you guys when i grow up! :D :cool: :drive:so what is done to your suspension...??????

I've met her and her dad to. They are super nice. She was at the Spring Break Shootout running low 13's. That truck runs and you guys just can't beleive it? Haters!!!! :judge:

No secrets here just a removed sway bar,Summit Racing shocks in rear,stock shocks up front,and a flip kit from being lowered.Oh yea and a lotta :drive:

Damn I wish I wouldve fixed up a truck instead of my car. I had a 2000 Silverado 1500 Singlecab. It was only a 4.8, but it was a beast from teh factory. I would beat any 5.3 I was matched up. I did lose to one though by 2 trucks. The guy wouldnt tell me what he had under the hood.

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the interest in my truck.. I'll settle some speculations for ya.. there is no NOS .. and there is no supercharger.. all naturally aspirated... LS6 block and 5.3 truck LS1 heads with head work .. suspension work.. custom exhaust built by my Dad.. I'll post a list tomorrow with all the mods done to my truck.. and I'll work on posting a few pics too. I also have a video of the truck that I can email if any of you guys are interested email me here sthomas1@gt.rr.com .. and ALL of the work excluding computer programming has been done by my Dad.. Gerald Thomas.. computer work was done by Thunder Racing and oh yes credit goes to Bakers Transmission for help on building the transmission. Thanks

hey , i just posted a new thread.. Amys Truck.. all the info about my truck that could come to mind lol.. and oh yeah, I dont really go to HRP too often.. I myself dont really like it too much to be honest lol.. such a hassle.. but were definetly going to be at Superchevy there this Septermber.. I cant wait for that.. last time we went got rained out and last year the truck wasnt near ready.. but im sure well get out there once or twice before superchevy .. test out the track get comfortable.. anyways holla at you guys later.. bye now
