Factory E-Fans for '02 Sierra
Looking to install e-fans and found a '08 Yukon Denali at a junkyard with the 34" radiator and fans for $125. Would these work, or should I continue looking for an '05-'06 radiator and fans?

There is no harness in the GMT900's like the GMT800 had as it's integrated right into the fuse block. On the GMT800 it's an add on afterthought because e fans only came about in 2005. The stock 05 to 07 harness from the GMT800 will clip right into your oem underhood fuse center and you just need to route the wires and pin the ecm. The oe harness is integrated into the front lighting harness but once you peel the loom off you will see it's a standalone taped on the lighting wiring. I have pulled like a dozen or more of the oem harnesses lol. I even peel the plug and pins that go into the ecm out of the donor so I have it all and it looks factory afterwards.
I would get an oem GMT800 harness and use that. The aftermarket ones are junk in comparison.

When I changed my 04 from clutch to electric fan, I got a factory harness, except that I had to get only the ends of the part that goes down to the fans because the truck it came off of was crunched in the front pretty good. It was eeeeezy enough to fix all that though.
There's acoupla threads on this in the Tech Writeup forum. Start here. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...-chevy-484892/ You will have to add the 2 wires to your harness for fan control that come from the ECM, and get them activated in your tune.
It's an EXCELLENT mod. It all drops right in, both the fans themselves, and the wiring. Made a noticeable improvement in power at higher RPMs and also gas mileage in my truck. Didn't notice any difference in cooling one way or the other except that the AC now works better sitting still, the clutch setup all worked fine in my truck before and just as well after the swap.
